The client was concerned that critical business applications
could not function in the event of a major disruption at its
main data processing location. These applications support a
large network of remote sites.
ISI was asked to review the current plan including the
development of a systems inventory. This inventory was analyzed
in terms of overall business continuity rather than just
disaster recovery. Each system was examined for possible
workarounds and a ranking of each system was developed in
relation to how long the system could be unavailable before
severe hardships were incurred. n
ISI the assisted in the selection of a Disaster Recovery partner
