How a Roadmapping Session Helps you Reach Your Goals

By Lori Adams

If you have ever attended one of our Luncheonar Events then you have heard us offer a Two Hour, Off the Clock, Roadmapping Session at the end of the event. You are curious? What exactly does ISI do in these sessions?

In these meetings, we ask that the clients have different areas of the business represented, normally finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, sales and IT are some of groups who may attend. If the client knows that they need to make a change or launch something new in a specific area, let’s say, business intelligence, then we will focus on that specific topic. We ask lots of questions about your Current State, the pain points that you are having, where processes are manual, and your needs. We also inquire about you Future Desired State, your vision and your goals.

All this information helps us map out a plan to assist your organization. The actual work product from this Roadmapping Session is a Discovery & Design Statement of Work that states the Goals and Deliverables for this plan.
